It can be challenging having a gundog to pay attention to you instead of chasing birds or other animals. They were originally bred to find, flush and retrieve game. 

​But how can you put their instincts under control?

In this workshop we'll be training with a select few gundogs who range in age and behaviours so you can watch and observe how we can promote calmness, communication and learning through a thorough understanding of their individual needs and desires. Yes they all may have some common traits but they are also individuals so we'll show you how we can bring out the best in your dog and help you problem solve if your are facing any issues.

​What do we do differently?
Unlike many other courses, this course is mostly run outdoors in realistic situations so that you and your dog learn together and can apply what you learn to your daily routine with some distractions.

 This workshop is designed to maximise your ability to learn, understand and ask questions.   If you would like us to work with you and your dog afterwards we can arrange private sessions or further workshops.

• All gundog breeds are encouraged to attend as long as they are fully vaccinated
  
• Not all dogs benefit from group training as some specific behavioural issues are best tackled on a one on one basis
  
• Dogs attending need to be sociable with people and other dogs

• The course is run outdoors so it is weather/ numbers dependent​
