Welcome to our popular puppy and dog training school we affectionately call Prime Pups.
We are passionate about training dogs of all ages and have developed weekly classes that we feel stand out from all the others. As a team of experienced behaviourists and dog trainers we felt there was insufficient understanding of what dogs really need at different stages of their lives and that classes should be fun, informative and engaging and most importantly relevant.
It has been our endeavour and delight to bring you what we feel are the critical elements of socialising and learning for all ages of dogs - from young puppies, to adolescents to adult dogs.
This also meant we felt it necessary to go beyond the classroom so our training programs also include:

As puppy raisers and dog coaches ourselves, we love to share with you our knowledge, skills and tips to ensure you and your dog become the best partnerships for life and are here throughout your journey.

We only use positive reinforcement techniques to ensure dogs willingly engage in their learning for long term behaviours.

Classes are based in safe, indoor spaces with multiple opportunities for learning and socialising for all aspects of our human world Suitable for puppies 8-16 weeks of age. |
Novice obedience skills for all age dogs
over 4 months - no upper age limit Teaching you the mechanics of training new concepts to your dog whilst building life skills and focus around more distractions outdoors. Suitable for sociable dogs of all ages. |
Tailored classes suited to easily distracted, worried or thrill-seeking adolescent dogs who's ears may have switched off. Advancing their obedience with a focus towards calmness and safety skills. Perfect for those 6 months - 16 months of age.
