For many owners, having a dog can become more difficult than first thought. We aim to show you how to understand and connect with your dog. We teach you to teach your dog using positive techniques that ensure you build a rewarding and responsive relationship.
Having worked with a range of breeds and those displaying a huge range of behaviours, we aim to coach you in how to improve or change those behaviours for the benefit of everyone.

We offer you training and support to ensure your dog gets the attention it needs to be sociable and under control around you, your family and out and about. Please be aware that, depending on the dog, the history and the issue, there are not always 'quick fixes' and that any training we implement will need to be continued by you in a consistent way to maximise results. 

Behaviour & Aggression
​Assessment & Consultation Package

An in depth consultation gathering information and assessing the behaviours you are struggling with your dog either by video (if you're out of range) or in person (at your home or at our premises).

• We aim to give you a clearer insight in to why they may be doing what they are doing, how it has evolved and short term preliminary advice for safety or to reduce them practising the behaviours.
• Your dogs veterinary records may be required if we feel there may be an underlying medical issue thats contributing to their behaviour.
• A training or behaviour modification program can only be designed and implemented after this time and with further sessions in order to be successful.
• Can be by video (we will need to see round your property) or in person (if you're within local range)

To successfully implement a training plan a minimum number of follow up sessions may be required and will be discussed with you after your initial assessment
If we feel there are underlying medical issues we may refer you to a Vet or Veterinary Behaviourist for further investigation. Training can be done in collaboration with them.

Reactive Dog Coaching

Our popular Reactive Dog Program focuses on giving you the understanding and skills you need to help your dog navigate our world and feel more confident to handle situations that may worry or over excite them, particularly around other dogs.
This is tailored behaviour modification, specific to you and your dog using systems that encourage safer and calmer responses and long term changes in their behaviour.
The program is designed with 10  x 45 minute progressive sessions that build:
Relationship building
Motivation
Marker and Reward Systems
Leash handling and emergency handling
Positively conditioned alternative or incompatible behaviours
Understanding body language
Working around triggers and distractions
Scenario training
Mentor dog interactions

The first 4-6 sessions can be done by video with you working at home if that is your only option.
The remainder will need to be done in person either in a suitable environment near your home (if you are local) or at our premises.

This behaviour modification program is only available after a Behaviour Assessment and Consultation has been done prior.

Online Live Training Session

Ideal for those needing some skills training guidance and still want someone to show them what to do. Using our own dogs to demonstrate we can teach you many practical skills and manners via live video (Facetime, WhatsApp or Zoom)
Perfect for a range of puppy/dog training and behaviour issues, especially for those further afield

​Video/phone consultations can be arranged to suit, during our opening hours 9-5:30pm Monday - Friday (some evening sessions may be available by arrangement)
Sessions are dependent on availability.
All members of the household must be present for a behaviour assessment and consultation 
Payment is due upon booking to secure the appointment, waiting lists are available in case of last minute cancellations.
Reports, training plans and advice may take several days to reach you after your session,
please be patient and be aware of our days off.
