Dogs are sentient beings and are not born ready to enjoy or cope with the process of being formally handled. Handling is often a regular part of their lives as pet dogs, whether it be at vet appointments and grooming salons, or simply at home trimming nails or inspecting ears. These online workshops are designed to show you the vital steps to build some very useful and positive skills for co-operative handling, grooming and vet care. This course is designed to work at your dogs pace, and build on their willingness on handling that’s applicable to your real life. Each week we will be teaching you new skills in co-operative handling. You will be required to practise each exercise every day between classes and video your sessions for analysis by our coach. We recommend you video the exercises each week and your daily training so we can review what you are doing at home so we can aid your progression and tweak any training each week. |
