RECALL GAMES WORKSHOP

Getting a dog to come to you can be a challenge at times but once you learn some clever techniques to build a reason your dog wants to come to you then your can achieve a much more reliable and fast recall.

Gamification is the art of learning through game-based play. Evidence shows this is one of the strongest ways to develop and reinforce the behaviours we want in dogs (and children too!). If practised, the act of the games itself becomes part of the reward, as they use the dogs natural drive and agility, generating an all round good feeling they want to repeat.

Discover how dogs learn, games to make recall training fun for you and your dog, and how to progress out in the real world. Building a good recall with your dog ensures your relationship is positive and the ability for more freedom.

On this course we focus on teaching games that build up a positive and rewarding pattern of returning to you willingly.
