In this introductory workshop you will come to understand the importance of using play drive in training and building engagement with any dog.
In any species it is through play that we learn best, by building an understanding and desire to repeat the process again because it was positive and successful. It may sound simple but there is a true art in learning how to use play to capture your dogs attention and focus. Discover what makes your individual dog tick as they each have a favourite part of the 'hunting sequence'. Capture wanted behaviours and obedience using toys instead of food. Master the art and become your dogs favourite game. What topics do we cover?
Breed and genetic influences How dogs influence each other through play How human behaviour influence your dog Timing and reward - the theory of learning The start of play drive The do's and don'ts of game play The power of retrieve training and how to use it effectively Trouble shooting Build relationship, response and focus with your dog What do we do differently?
